    This thing throws off some heat! The fire starts easy and stays consistent. My only thing is it is not 100% smokeless. There can definitely be some smoke when the fire starts but once it’s rolling it doesn’t seem to be a problem like traditional fire pits. It could be our wood but there is frequent popping/embers. Overall a good value.

    This stainless smokeless outdoor fire pit is being sold by the brand east oak. At the time of this review, it is priced at 215 dollars with 211 ratings averaging at 5 stars on Amazon. It is made with 304 stainless steel and is a 3 part unit consisting of the 21 inch pan stove, a flame ring, and a removable ash tray. It also includes a long tool with a wood handle that operates as a fire poker and is used to remove the ash tray.

    Product Con’s:
    Other than the change in coloration of the stainless steel after repeated usage (which I expected and occurs with all stainless fire pits), I have not found a single con with this product to date!

    Product Pro’s:
    The price for this pit is extremely reasonable when compared to similar products.
    It produces a tremendous amount of heat that radiates a full 360 degrees. The heat can be from several feet away. It was felt level with the top of the fire ring and up and extends to the surrounding area in a mushroom cap like dome of heat.
    It did an excellent job burning off excess smoke. Upon the initial lighting of the fire or when a new batch of wood is added are the only times the smoke is apparent. Once the fire pit is heated or the new batch begins to burn thoroughly, the smoke is hardly noticeable.
    It cools faster than expected after a full burn and the ash cleanup could not be made easier, making this fire pit highly portable.
    The overall quality and product features are amazing.
    The built in stands and added vent holes at the base not only protect what’s underneath from heat damage, but I found that it allowed the fire to breath better, producing high heat and a steady burn.
    I could not be more impressed with this fire pit, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quick and easy fire at home, camping, on RV trips, while tailgating, and at any party or outdoor gathering where I assure you, this fire pit will make all the difference!

    Bought this fire pit for my parents 2 years ago and it is still going strong. We use it about once a month from March – November on our camping trips and we absolutely love it. It definitely puts out some heat and love that it is smokeless. We did buy the lid and cover which has also helped keep the firepit working at it’s best. East Oaks customer service was so helpful. We had an issue with the fire ring, it had gotten a little warped. I called their customer service and they were more than helpful and went above and beyond to make sure that I was able to replace the part. They even checked in after it was supposed to be delivered to ensure that we did receive it. Overall, a great product and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a smokeless fire pit.

    It’s nice when you get a product that you can tell had actual engineering and thought put into it. I got this for small backyard bonfires and to reduce my growing burn pile without smoking out the neighbors. Not only was everything well packaged and easy to put together, it performed like a champ from the first fire. Air circulates right through and really distributes heat well, making it easy to light and keep fires going. The bottom tray is super easy to remove and clean out. Every detail contributes to what this product was intended to do, and it makes a real difference.

    Expect some smoke when you first light your fire, but once the flames take it is smoke free. Seems well built and easy to clean. I’m happy with the purchase. I bought the cover too, but I wish it had a carry case so I can more easily move it into a dry spot before rainy days. It’s not heavy. Just causes dirty hands.

    Customer service is amazing!! First off, I ordered the upgraded fire pit, with the new ash pan and fire gathering ring. Amazon sent me the older original version. I contacted East Oak CS directly and they immediately sent me a new fire pit. The only thing they asked for was the invoice and a picture of the fire pit I received. Having burned fires in both, the upgraded pit is worth it. It just burns better… if you already have the original, it’s not enough better that you need to go get the new version in my opinion, but it clearly has better air flow… I’ve also burned quite a few fires in the big name brand ,of equal size, I got at Costco. The East Oak is better in a couple of important ways. First, somehow, the heat reaches lower. My lower legs and feet don’t get cold like they do with the other brand. It’s not hot, I’m burning this on my wood deck with no fear, but it is warmer. Second, air flows better. The fire lights quickly and is stronger throughout the burn. Lastly, it was half the price of the Costco bundle of the other brand, and that Costco price is hard to beat. Better fire for half the cost…? That’s an easy decision…
