This tabletop fire pit comes fully assembled and is quick to use right out of the box. The legs need to be folded out, the fire pit sets on the included mat, you fill it with fuel (I used pellets), and light. It burns for about 30 minutes, with minimal smoke, while producing light from about a 16″ flame. Additional pellets can be added, but you need to be careful not to smother the fire. The heat is intense, but it doesn’t radiate much beyond a 4′ radius. Clean up, once completely cooled, is easy with the ash collector removing from the fire pit for easy dumping. The stainless steel, after the first burn, is discolored, which was expected. It does clean up a little, but it won’t return to factory finish. Overall, it’s a great addition to the porch. Next time, marshmallows with the included telescoping skewers.

I recently tried out a stainless steel tabletop fire pit that closely resembles the Solo Stove Mesa XL, and I was impressed with its quality and performance. Constructed from the same 304 stainless steel, this fire pit feels thick, sturdy, and well-crafted. I fueled it using mini hardwood pieces I prepared myself by cutting a ~16″ split log into thirds and splitting those into 1×1″ pieces. One re-split log provided a solid 30 minutes of burn time.
The fire pit performed exceptionally, burning smokelessly and creating a pleasant atmosphere. Starting the fire was easy; I used one piece of balled newspaper and a handful of short twigs, and it lit up with no problems. One thing to note is that the exterior does develop a patina, turning slightly bronze after the first use and deepening after the second. However, since the Solo Stove version is also made of stainless steel, it’s likely to patina in a similar way over time. For those who prefer to maintain the original finish, opting for the black version might reduce this effect.
A nice touch was the included carrying case, although it fits snugly. It also came with a fireproof mat, which could be useful, but I found it safe on my glass outdoor table without it. I found this fire pit to be such a great product that I bought a few more to use as holiday gifts, pairing them with a box of hand-split wood for an ideal package.
Overall, I’d rate this fire pit 5 stars for its solid construction, comparable quality to the Solo Stove, and great value at a third of the price. If patina isn’t an issue, this is an excellent choice!

It’s great but it tarnished to quickly . Even putting it in bag .

This was a gift. The recipient loves it. There really isn’t much assembly. I also got a starter kit of small wood sticks and some fire starters to put inside.
Can’t speak to it being rust resistant. I have been at an outdoor table with one of these and the heat output for a table with 6 people was very good.

Now that it is colder it’s very nice to chill on a porch with a little fire going that adds heat and an atmosphere. Works very well at cutting down on smoke once it warms up which doesn’t take long. Walk around and grab some dead branches and you have heat for 30 minutes. Once again, it is very atmospheric when combined with a little wine and a cigar.

I love to sit outside and burn wood in my firepit throughout the year, but saw this, gave it a try and absolutely LOVE it! It uses significantly less wood fuel and gives warmth and mood. Bought one for my daughter and son-in-law. 🥰🔥🎶📻

If you want a tabletop fire pit, this is a great kit.. Everything you need, right out of the box. It is about 7″ wide and 8.56″ high.. It is really well made, stainless steel. There is an outer canister, a burn chamber and a fire ring for the top. Thankfully the kit also includes a grab handle, if you have to move it..I was really happy to see two little marshmallow forks.. so cute… oh, there is also a nice carry sack with a draw string. The feet on the bottom fold away so you can store it in sack. The instructions are pretty straight forward, you add combustible starter material to the burn chamber and then light with one of those long long lighters, then add twigs and small branches. You can also use pellets if you prefer. It isn’t obvious, but there is a lot of technology in the design of the burner. Three stages of fire that put out a lot of heat, and provide a very clean burn. There is a name brand that sells for more than twice the price of this kit.. I am really happy with this one. It will be a great gift for my husband. I can’t wait. This would have been five stars, but some of the edges seemed a bit on the sharp side. Just use a little caution, or wear gloves, that shouldn’t be an issue. Overall I am really thrilled with this tabletop fire pit.
