I have a full-sized, name-brand smokeless fire pit that costs many times more than this. But the name brand unit is bulky, hard to travel with, and overkill when you only want to roast a few s’mores, or to add some ambiance. This is a very nice, portable, unit that serves a purpose.
I was most surprised by the quality, expecting at this price point to get a very flimsy unit, but its surprisingly heavy and strong.
It’s true that this comes with no instructions, but I didn’t find it hard to assemble or use.
———————————————————–
When do I prefer this table-top unit vs. the big/name-brand unit:
———————————————————–
– Whenever I want a quick solution. Smaller means less kindling required, it gets hotter faster, etc.
– When there are little kids around. Putting this on a table helps reduce burn risks of kids running into the bigger units
– when I’m looking for ambience, but not “heat.” Great for hot summer picnics.
– when I want a more portable solution. Doesn’t take up as much space in the car.
———————————————————–
When is the big/name-brand unit best?
———————————————————–
– lots of people
– when you actually want to sit around a fire pit and warm up

– If you have pellets (because you have a pellet stove or smoker), use those. The vent holes are small enough that pellets (mostly) don’t fall through.
– A mat underneath helps with ash if you put this on a table.

I ordered this smokeless firepit to test out from Amazon Vine because I have always been intrigued by them and wanted to finally try one out to see.
The kit comes with a grill, A storage and travel bag. A top piece and a removable ashtray piece. It is pretty big to. 14 inches diameter. It weighs a good amount but not enough to keep you from taking it with you car camping.
What got me excited about this firepit was the included grill and being able to cook on it. I tried cookign a few smoked pork chop and beans and it went great. It heats up like crazy. You could probably fit around 6 hamburgers on it. Or lots of hotdogs. Great for roasting marshmallows as well without the grill.
The smokeless aspect works pretty awesome once you get the fire roaring. You can see the gases and air getting sucked into the holes on the inner chamber. Sucking up all the smoke to. It still makes some smoke but the difference is quite a bit less compared to a standard firepit. Pretty awesome.
I tested it out a few nights now and the family loves it. It is not to huge. yet big enough to sit around and enjoy yourselves. I think it is the perfect size. It radiates some good heat as well.
All in all I love it. A great little firepit for the back yard or car camping adventures. It is a lot safer as well then a fire in the ground. We put ours on a patio stone for extra safety. The piece of mind in the hot summer draughts is nice. The grill can act as a spark arrester as well. Cutting down the majority of sparks that fly out. Some still do but not as many.
I can totally recommend it. This is a cool firepit! It works better than I expected. Thanks a ton.

It’s a good set with some different options for the top and fits into a bag. It’s not small enough for backpacking, but it’s okay for camping or backyards. It burned up its box easily, producing a lot of heat. I left it out to cool, and the sun and rain but it is still nice and shiny.

As others have mentioned, this is small and portable but too big to be packable. If you’re going to use this for home or car/campground camping, it’s perfect.
The quality is very nice. It has a very nice finish and all of the parts fit well together. Clean up is pretty easy and I haven’t had any negative issues with it. We all enjoy it. We’ve been using it mostly to have fun with the kids. The kids really enjoy roasting marshmallows over the flame and warming up around it, like a mini campfire. It’s good memories for them. We have fun with it.
You do have to careful what you use to burn in it if you’re going to be heating food over or on it. Don’t use cheap pellets, they apparently have a lot fillers and binding chemicals. I tried cheap pellets from Home Depot for the initial testing and it put out so much soot it blackened everything including a pot I used to boil some water. It was so thick and sticky, I had to use Acetone to clean everything up. So if you’re going to use this for roasting or cooking, make sure you only use natural woods or pellets that don’t have additional chemicals added to them. You don’t want to use anything that could end up being detrimental to you or your loved ones health.
Customer Review –
This is pretty great! It’s a really beautiful, well-made, stainless steel mini firepit, and I love it!
It takes a little playing around since it didn’t come with instructions, but once you get it figured out, it’s really easy. They do provide a good instruction video here, but if you’re like me and just want something to read, here’s a quick guide to get started:
– Empty everything.
– Turn the base upside down, and push out the three feet to form the stand.
– Put the large round baseplate at the bottom, ring side up.
– Put your kindling (wood/coal) directly on top of that.
– Put the outer ring on top with the smaller circle side facing up.
– Open the legs of the grill and sit it directly on top. It should sit perfectly flat (see below if it doesn’t).
That’s it. Light your fire.
One thing I did notice was that my grill stand was not fitting the top circle properly and popping off. This is because the grate was pushed slightly up (and away from the legs). To fix this, hold the grill with the legs pointing away from you, and press gently in the center until the grill grate pops out (towards the legs). You only need to press very gently, and now the grill will sit perfectly on the center plate. This part confused me a bit until I figured it out, because it’s not in the video anywhere. Once it’s out, everything fits together perfectly.
The two remaining pieces you have now are the small ignition basket (which I didn’t use or need, but you can if you’d like) and the long stick to remove the ashes when you’re done for cleanup, which does come in handy.
I have the smaller model, and I really love this little fire pit. It provides such a nice ambiance and, although it’s not fully collapsible like other camping gear, it is small enough that it totes along nicely. I actually have a pot that fits inside it perfectly, so it stores up well for my purposes, and for me, it’s worth taking. Love it.

Based on everyone else’s reviews, I am disappointed that mine is not the pleasant experience that seemed to be the norm.
I haven’t be able to use it because I don’t want ashes and debris in the bottom that I can’t bet out.
I wouldn’t be able to get them out because the the removable as tray is not coming out. It appears to be warped of something and I can’t get that tray out through the top.
It does not appear to be a common problem and no one else has mentioned it. Any product can have a defective one so I think (based on the price and other raving reviews) it is still worth the purchase.
