I figured out how to keep the fire going. Once it starts to die down – but before the flame is extinguished – add a layer of pellets, then hit the fire with some lighter fluid. The flame will ratchet back up with minimal smoke.

First would like to note that I’ve only used this with wood stove pellets, not logs, so I can’t comment on how it burns wood. With pellets it is smokeless as described. It’s very easy to light with either lighter fluid or tiki torch fuel. You can also get a gel lighter fuel which works well also. It puts out a ton of heat, so much so that I usually have to move my chair back.
The only downside to this pit is that it lasts about an hour before the pellets are burned up, and there is no effective way to keep it burning. I’ve tried adding pellets both while the flame is going well and after it dies down, but it tends to smoke and while the pellets burn it doesn’t last for long.
Having said that this is a great pit, super easy to light, and easy to clean as the pellets don’t leave much ash.
Depending on where you are you should be able to get decent pellets as tractor supply or your favorite big box home store. Lots of local options as well if you live in the NE, and prices are better if you buy bags by the ton (50 bags).

If you’re looking to ignite your outdoor experience, this smokeless portable fire pit is the spark you’ve been searching for! 🔥
First off, the construction is solid as a rock – or should I say, solid as a well-built fire pit? It’s sturdy, durable, and ready to handle all your fiery adventures. 🪵
Now, let’s talk about the smokeless feature. Yes, it does become smokeless, but there’s a catch – you need to get that fire roaring hot first! So, if you’re a fan of a blazing inferno, this fire pit will be your best friend. Just remember, no smoke without fire! 😉
Once you get it going, it’s smooth sailing. No more dodging smoke clouds like you’re in a game of “smoke and mirrors.” You can sit back, relax, and enjoy the warmth without feeling like you’re in a smoke signal relay race. 🌬️
In conclusion, this fire pit is a hot commodity. It’s well-constructed, does its job, and adds a touch of magic to your outdoor gatherings. Just be prepared to fan those flames a bit before you get to the smokeless part. 🔥
So, if you’re ready to turn up the heat and have a smokin’ good time, this fire pit is the way to go! 🔥🔥🔥

This little fire pit is really amazing. Great for camping if that’s what you’re wanting it for, but I use it to roast s’more’s with my kids outside. It takes less than a minute to assemble and put away and is super compact while being a good size.
I’ve bought five and given away three as gifts. (Birthdays, weddings, etc.) The recipients loved them as well! I’m also keeping one in my car for emergencies. (plus, its the perfect size to put in the car without being too small.)
The fire pit puts out a lot of heat, (which was surprising for such a little one) yet, is not too hot to put on a metal outdoor table.
In short, it works great; easy to use, easy to put away; perfect size, not being too bulky or too small. If the picture is what you are wanting, this fire pit is exactly what you are looking for.

Is it smokeless? by no means like any other fire once you get it going it is pretty much smoke free I have used pellets and wood they both work it’s a nice little pit . We use it on our front porch I hike and car camp so there are places you can’t have a fire for lack of a pit and this works very nice for that I just gater sticks that are laying around the area or I also carry a box of pellets it has been well woth the money I spent 😀

We got the 13” model and it’s the Perfect size for our 240sq ft deck – gives good amount of heat and was up and running in less then a couple minutes.
I’d highly recommend picking up some wood pellets for less smoke and easy clean up. ( unflavored from hardware store) you can get about 40lbs for 8 bucks.
Extremely happy with the product – I’d put a Stee table under the pit because I was uneasy on putting it on my deck. It gives a lot of heat so I’d would put either a cement block/rocks or metal/steel stand to rest it on.
Highly recommend product

This firepit is a lot smaller than you would think. We bought it to carry with us in our 5th wheel for trips. It definitely IS NOT smokeless unless you only place one of two pieces of wood in the very bottom of it. We couldn’t get wood pellets to burn at all but that could have just been an issue on our part. Advice – don’t stake wood like a tee-pee, you’ll get smoked out. Make sure your pieces of wood do not go over the edges and not above the top rim of the firepit. Keep it down inside of the firepit closer to the ground. We will probably end up getting a bigger firepit that doesn’t have all these issues. We have one at home that is perfect and no smoke!

Make sure you buy fire burning pellets not smoking pellets. Wish this brand had its own brand of pellets. I had to buy solo pellets. I haven’t tried to burn wood yet, but I will soon after I run out of solo pellets. It does smoke a bit, but doesn’t anything that burns? Love the portability, good buy, I’ve used it three times so far and it’s paid for itself. Buy some high heat spray paint to add extra weather protection.
