Backing October i get the same specific in a gaming PC at Costco. Then I needed to up grade my laptop. Which is working out Great both are MSI

I’ve had this laptop for about six months now, and honestly, it’s been a pretty disappointing experience, especially considering the amount I spent on it. Despite treating it carefully—using it only at desks and transporting it in a protective case—it still manages to accumulate imperfections for no apparent reason.

The scratches on the cover, while not a huge deal, are still a bit pathetic and speak to the low quality of the shell material. But the real shock came one day when I opened the laptop after leaving it shut for a few hours. Without moving or touching it in any unusual way, I noticed a scratch on the screen. I have no idea how it even happened, but it’s clear evidence of how fragile the build is. Now, this scratch is an eyesore and completely ruins the immersion of a dark theme, making it impossible to ignore.

As bad as the aesthetics are, the most frustrating issue is the completely broken audio. I rely on audio for both work and hobbies, so this has been an absolute dealbreaker. When using headphones, the audio randomly cuts out, and the most frustrating part is that it completely stops working altogether, always causing the entire system to lag. Sometimes simply pausing and resuming a video causes the audio to crash entirely, leaving me no choice but to restart the laptop to fix it. This wouldn’t be as much of an issue if it were rare, but it happens multiple times a day.

Besides these issues, the functionality and performance feel average. I’m not disappointed with how it runs overall—it would be a solid laptop if it were more reliable and durable. However, given the fragile build and constant audio problems, I can’t recommend this laptop to anyone. It’s been a huge disappointment.

i use mine for AutoCAD, never lags, absolutely perfect, NEVER GO ANYWHERE WITHOUT THE CHARGER!! dies in an hour or two but for the performance i think that range is typical. Sims 4 also runs smoothly.

Let’s get this out of the way first – the cons:
The MSI M16 is a bulky, heavy beast of a computer. Its touchpad sucks, its battery life is mediocre, and the black plastic shell attracts fingerprints like a shower drain gathers hair. It would also be great if it had a MicroSD card slot, but I acknowledge that’s what adapters are for.
    The pros:
Everything else about the laptop is great. Performance is super smooth, not very loud or hot even when playing modern graphics games like Baldur’s Gate 3 or Red Dead Redemption. Works well for 3D design, word processing, etc. as well. Speakers are good, and the cooling hex design on the underside is pretty cool looking. 3 regular USB ports, a USB-C port, HDMI, Ethernet, and a headphone jack cover pretty much all the bases in terms of inputs/outputs. If you can get it on sale, it’s well worth the $1100 sale price. I wouldn’t pay $1.5k or more for it, but it’s a great computer at the price point.

Excelente articulo, llego en menos tiempo en perfectas condiciones, y funciona a la perfección tal cual se marca en la publicación, definitivamente volvería a comprar el artículo

I got the model with the i7-13620H, RTX 4060, 1TB SSD, and 32gb RAM

Pros: fast as heck, lightweight, beautiful display with a taller screen (great for editing portrait-orientation photos), good value, lots of ports, decent battery life (considering capability and weight), 10-key included, and a simple, understated design without a rainbow keyboard

Cons: no SD slot on a “creator” series laptop, confusing 10-key layout with non-dedicated home/end/pg up/pg down buttons.

Overall, I really like this laptop and I’m more than happy to give it 5 stars. I use a USB-C to SD card adapter which I can easily swap between my phone and computer, so that’s not a huge hassle. I mostly use this laptop for lightroom and photoshop, and it works great!

However, why can’t I get an exact replacement charger on Amazon or from MSI’s website? I’d like a backup and I don’t want to risk a third-party AC adapter.

Eficiente, rápida, hasta ahora buena duración de la batería. La he utilizado principalmente en software de diseño y arquitectura y ha resultado muy buena para trabajar y procesar imágenes.

If I could give this laptop a minus 5 I would. I love the size, the weight, it’s fast, and I gave it the benefit of the doubt because many reported that they get hot. I figured maybe people were exaggerating but my God, this thing gets hot enough to cook an egg. This laptop gets so hot you cannot put it on your lap. After a while of typing, your fingers get hot enough that it’s uncomfortable to type. I did various temperature tests, and I got temperatures in excess of 120 degrees, this is dangerous, and someone is going to get hurt.

    Excelente producto, full recomendado.

Espectacular pantalla, un gran teclado a costa de una refrigeración mediocre y muy poca duración de la batería. Pura potencia bruta

*Disclaimer: I use this laptop for online college and have zero knowledge of its performance as a gaming laptop.* I will say, the laptop is very high quality, runs smoothly, and has good graphics. Not very loud and has never overheated (I will use it for hours and it stays a good temp, good internal cooling system). Only complaint is the mouse pad sucks. It works 80% of the time, but when it’s malfunctioning… horrendous. It’s like it has a mind of its own. I will have the laptop sitting down on the table, not touching it AT ALL, and the mouse moves! (tried cleaning it, doesn’t help either) When the mouse malfunctions, it does anything from highlight the whole screen to just randomly squiggling and I cant use it when it does this. This issue has messed up multiple assignments I’ve been working on and gets very inconvenient at times. I have since bought a USB mouse that plugs in, but I feel like for the price I paid, the mouse pad could be better.
Overall good laptop, just recommend to buy your own mouse.
