    At my house, it’s easier to just register all of the digital purchases to me, so that I can manage them for the household. In this case, I registered the game to me, and for the first time – – the game only launches for me, and is linked to me! This limitation is described nowhere on the packaging or during redemption that I could find. I received no warning saying that only my account would be able to access it.

    So, the game I got for my wife for christmas, won’t launch for her profile on the Nintendo Switch (or any of the kids), only for me for an account linked to my switch and ubisoft account, which is required to even get the game to fully launch.

    I see people saying you only get 2 songs, I think in reality you get like 15-20ish. Then it shows you like 200 more with conditions. Oh – you want these 30, you have to buy this edition, you want another 30, exclusive to this edition…. It’s a way to nickel and dime you until you’re broke.

    Our goal was to be able to play and compete with profiles for both the husband and wife, like we did with JD2019, 2020, 2021… I have PHYSICAL COPIES that my wife and I love for all of those.

    I have the digital copy for 2023, but haven’t even put in the code yet, now I know to do that one for the wife, and I guess I have to RE PURCHASE this game from these soulless jerks so my wife can enjoy it like I intended. I can’t say I won’t support them, because this game brings my wife joy, but these guys are shady and dishonest thieves in my mind.

    I logged a ticket with Ubisoft over a week ago and haven’t heard back from them. When they eventually respond, I suspect they’ll point out some small print somewhere on their website (but not in the product listing or packaging) that gives them their ability to say I “agreed” to their shadiness, but I’m here to disagree. It should be clear when I purchase, and clear when I redeem what’s happening.

    I do not recommend. I would zero star if allowed. Stay away from this game and Ubisoft. I hope their greed is their demise. Someone better will step in and fill the gap.

    Got it for my daughter for Christmas. She loves it so I love it. Plays it all the time. You need a Ubisoft account to play. That was fine for my household because we do play a lot of games and already have an account. It’s been a fun week.

    Compré El juego en físico para tener el disco y de muy mal gusto que venga un código para descargar para eso lo hubiera comprado en la shop de Nintendo y no arriesgarme si llegaba para Reyes o no y encima usar espacio en mi memoria del Switch.

    Todo lo demás bien, buen precio.

    Alright, so I bought Just Dance 2025 thinking I was getting a game. You know, the physical kind with a shiny little card inside the box. Turns out, it’s not a game card—just a download code. Cue me staring at the empty box like it’s some kind of prank.

    Now, I get that the world is going digital, but for the price? I’d like an actual game card to put in my kid’s console, thank you very much. It’s not like I’m anti-technology (I mean, I did figure out how to download the thing after a quick YouTube search), but something about paying for an empty box feels…wrong.

    That said, the game itself is a hit. The kids are dancing, laughing, and burning off energy, which means I get at least 30 minutes of peace. And hey, I even joined in and got some cardio, so there’s that. Four stars because the game is great, but seriously—next time, give me the card!
