    The sound was amazing and the speaker itself was light and easy to carry around.
    The price was right too.

    We purchased the Ion Sport Boom trying to find an affordable way to provide audio support for a covered outdoor celebration of life event on a windy day. It performed beautifully regarding bluetooth connectivity, sound quality, and volume for music. The volume capability of the included wired microphone was far less robust and required you to hold it close to your mouth, and it doesn’t appear to have very good radio reception, for which I took away a star. However, it does have these things included, as well as charging capabilities, weatherproofing, portability, and excellent soud when paired with other wireless (or maybe a better wired?) microphone so for the money, it is at least a 4.5. If I could sing, this would be a great karaoke buy, with other microphones better and perfect to take anywhere as is for sound. Battery life is great.

    This speaker has excellent volume, sound quality and range, both in how far away it can be heard and how far the Bluetooth connectivity reaches. We bought it for work and more than one of my coworkers said (after hearing it for the first time) that they would actually like to get one to have at home! We’re very impressed with the quality and satisfied with the value we got for the price.
    The microphone and the other audio input have separate volume controls, which is great. The microphone quality seems a little lower than that of the speaker itself, as in I wouldn’t want to give a concert using it or anything, but for speaking outdoors it will work very well.

    I got this as a Christmas gift for my husband.
    We love to do what we call “Couch Karaoke with friends and family.
    We are able to put the music and lyrics on our tv and use yhe boombox as our mic speaker. The sound is great and price is even better!
    This wasn’t just a good buy, it was truly the “Best Buy”!

    I am super happy with this portable speaker so far. I bought it mainly to use when going to a drive-in movie, because it has the built-in radio, and it worked great! The battery has lasted for more than 10 hours without a recharge so far, using the bluetooth function as well. I am very happy with the sound, with it having very nice bass and mids to my liking. It is very light, and not too big compared to the larger speakers for sale, but it still produces amazingly loud sound in my opinion. I haven’t tried the mic that came with it, or the app that you can download. No need for either on my end. It works perfectly, sounds great and lasts long. Exactly what I needed!

    A great little speaker!! I bought it because I needed a microphone for an event the next day and it was the only one available locally with a decent speaker that was portable. Fully intending to return it afterward.
    That didn’t happen. I discovered what else it had to offer. Bluetooth speaker for my devices, FM radio for and long battery life. Just what we will need during power outages to keep up with the world.
