I’ve had several different types of the “auto inflat” tire pumps from different manufacturers. Each of the other pumps had some variation of D/C power. This is the first model I’ve had that has a 20volt battery, not to mention D/C & A/C as other options. The pump was very easy to take out of the box and set up for use. The rotary dial is easy to use to set up your desired pressure and the start/pause button switch seems to be off good quality. The only pump issue I noticed was when I was inflating my tires, the pump likes to vibrate and dance on the concrete floor. It does not moon walk, but it definitely does the jitter bug. Thicker feet would definitely round out this unit and be a welcomed addition. The only big hold out for myself and I’m sure some others, is that beside purchasing this unit, you also need to purchase a battery, get the largest you can afford, and a way to charge the battery. DeWalt makes it easy with some combo packages and it’s a long term investment, not an impulse, use once buy. So far, this investment has worked well and had no problems inflating my UHP tires to 44psi. It inflated quick and easily. The actual pump generates allot of heat, enough to warm up the high pressure hose. All in all I would definitely recommend this unit to anyone who wants to make an investment in keeping your tires safe.

Works really well and easy to use. Not to heavy but very solid. Fills tire to selected level quickly even on my truck. The unit moves around a bit so placed it against tire to steady. Only complaint is that the gauges are placed flat in unit and the unit needs to be tilted back to see readings. It is very accurate and my TPMS reading matches the pressure reading on the inflator.

The media could not be loaded.

    Pros:
    Marcadores digitales claros y exactos.
    Control manual -digital de intensidad.
    Luz led
    Capacidad de fuerza sobresaliente
    Materiales y diseño resistentes
    Práctico, algo ligero
Tiempo de llenado de 3-5 minutos promedio.

    Contras

Perfect for when I travel. Aired up my truck tire, my bicycle tire. Easy storage, easy to use.

This is a 10/10 quality product! It does NOT come with a battery or charging station (you must purchase them separately) but man oh man this little diddy works so well. I drive a Kia Soul and ran over a nail and had a flat with no way of getting it anywhere without a tow-truck (um, no thanks) so this came highly recommended from my father and brother who love DeWalt products and it did not disappoint. It pumped up my car tire in like 2 minutes! The machine itself is super light too! I am not mechanic-savy at all and I could use it with no manual – It’s very user-friendly. I keep it in my car all the time and just used it to pump up my friends bicycle tire (it comes with all the little attachments for different tires). You should never be “stranded” ever again!

  6. Keeley Russell

my so and son in law loved them

  7. NTC

Had this for almost 4 years now and I can say it’s an absolute life and lung saver. I’ve used it on everything from tires to kids pools, balls, floats, mattresses etc.
There is an added cost for the AC plug and, of course, batteries, and even a case of you want it need one. I got the AC plug and normally only use the car plug and not batteries. Battery use is okay but, understandably, they die quick if the voltage gets low or when they get hot.
I keep this in my trunk along with a plug kit and it’s been used hundreds of times for my tires. Where I work there’s screws and nails always all over the place. This thing saves time and stress.

  8. Unworthy

This product is very cool, especially since I already have DeWalt tools and batteries. What I like about this inflator is that it has two power sources it can use batteries and it has a power cord that you can plug into your car. Easy to use and it’s compact.

  9. Mrs Lesley Dawson

Not the cheapest option, but it works sooooo much better than the Canadian Tire special it replaced. I love that there are 3 potential power sources (assuming you buy the 110V adapter). 12V from vehicle, 20V from Dewalt battery or 110V from wall outlet. I got the 110V adapter plus a knockoff brand carrying case. The case fits the pump, an extra battery plus the 110V adapter just fine.

If I could change anything (and I might later) I would use alligator clips for the 12V adapter rather than a cigarette lighter. That’s just my preference but not all cars nowadays have cigarette lighters or if they do they are sometimes non-functional so a direct to battery option would be nice. All cars today do, in fact have batteries. I might cut off the cigarette lighter portion and attach two alligator style battery clips so I can attach directly to a battery. Small gripe and/or just a personal preference. Most people will probably be fine with it the way it comes.

Easy to use (you can read the instructions if you want….I didn’t need them) and on it’s first use it surprised me with how fast and accurate it was (I checked the pressure against a traditional tire gauge to make sure they agreed with each other). Anecdotally, it’s 3-4x as fast as my old one. Tested it on a smaller, lower pressure tire (30psi). Time will tell if it can deliver the 160 psi it promises. I haven’t needed to fill a truck tire up yet. Fingers crossed. I only need 80 psi, so even if it doesn’t make the 160 psi it promises I think it will suffice.

Finally, it seems to me that with 110V power available plus a dedicated place for the 20V battery this thing ought to double as a charger. It clearly states that it is ‘NOT A CHARGER’. Not a deal breaker but it would be nice if it could do double duty especially at this price point.

  10. Jenna Hailey Poindexter

I purchased the Dewalt 20V Max Tire Inflator to check and adjust the tire pressure on my RV and truck, and it works great! It’s powerful, easy to use, and the fact that it’s cordless makes it super convenient for larger vehicles. I can get multiple uses out of it on a single charge, which is a huge plus.

The auto-off feature is a game-changer—it ensures the pressure is spot-on and makes the whole process foolproof. This inflator is well-built and dependable, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone who needs a portable and efficient way to maintain their tires!

  11. Litchfield Dad

In awe at the power this little unit puts out. Inflated 4 trailer tires to proper tire pressure (high PSI) and was super easy and convenient. Takes a little bit of time but it stops automatically at the set pressure.

  12. Amazon Customer

After considering many different products, very happy I selected this one. It’s super easy to use, lightweight, provides accurate reading of current tire pressure, and fills up the car tires quickly. Really like the auto shut off and the multiple ways to charge it.

  13. Cliente Amazon

Não me arrependi.
