Great hot glue gun. Cordless is awesome.. fast to heat up and good on the juice when there..! Works seamlessly with the red batteries.. if you didn’t know you would think it was the same as battery maker … except they don’t make one..? Thankfully these guys do and here it is..! I use it for PDR glue pulling repairs.. very happy with purchase..!

This is a cordless tool that fits the dewalt 20v battery perfectly and works great. It last quite a while and functions as expected. It occasionally has a small drip after using and takes a few minutes to get hot enough, but is great once it does. I wished it was a continuous feed when the handle is pressed, but I do appreciate the large handle and not just a finger trigger. It does start to smoke a bit after it is fully heated, but overall, a great tool for the money.

This is a nice tool! I connected the hot gun to one of my existing Makita batteries and turned it on. It got hot in a reasonable time and was ready to use. The glue came out well and didn’t sit there and leak out onto the table like the old ones I have. I like that I will be able to take it to wherever I need it and not have to provide household power. It’s a great addition to my tool collection and will be my new “Go To” glue gun. :>)

Heats up quickly and feeds glue stick well. Recommended

This is the third brand of battery powered hot glue gun I have tried in the last few weeks trying to find one that actually performs well. This one is a keeper and actually out performs my plug in model. It heated up very quickly and the glue was flowing within 2 minutes. The other two brands of the same claimed wattage took 10 minutes to heat up to the point that glue would flow and never reached the claimed temperature. This product also has a LED light indicating the power is on and it changes from a red color to a green color when the gun is at working temperature. The only improvement I would make to the product would be to add a white LED that would illuminati the work area. (This was a feature one of the other products I tested had.)
I have only had this hot glue gun for a few days so far, so I can’t report on longevity yet. But I do use a hot glue gun fairly often and will update this review if I come across issues. So if there is no update then it’s still working great.

I’ve been using the Mellif 100W Cordless Hot Glue Gun with my DeWalt 20V Max battery, and it’s been a solid tool for my DIY projects. Here’s what stands out:

    Pros:

Cordless Convenience: Using my DeWalt battery with this glue gun makes it incredibly portable and easy to maneuver. No more dealing with cords!
Powerful Output: At 100W, it delivers great adhesion for both small and large projects. I’ve used it on wood, plastic, and fabric with consistent results.
Long Battery Life: The DeWalt 20V Max battery provides hours of runtime, which is fantastic for long projects without needing to recharge or swap batteries.
Comfortable Grip: It’s ergonomically designed, making it comfortable to use even during extended sessions.
On/Off Switch: The switch is convenient for controlling power usage and safety.
    Cons:

Slower Heat-Up Time: While it works well, I’ve noticed that it takes a bit longer to heat up compared to some other glue guns I’ve used. Not a huge issue, but something to keep in mind if you need to get started quickly.
No Battery Included: You’ll need your own DeWalt 20V Max battery, which is fine if you’re already in the DeWalt ecosystem.
Overall, the Mellif 100W glue gun is a reliable tool for serious DIYers and professionals. While it takes a little longer to heat up, the performance and convenience more than make up for it!

My husband bought this to use on job sites for our business. However, this crafting momma has used it to make decor for our home since he bought it and it works great!

    Pros:
Works with my husband’s Makita batteries and doesn’t drain them.
Easy to use, just slide the switch on and you’re ready to go.
It’s light weight even with the battery attached.
Came with glue sticks so we didn’t need to go out and buy any.
It heats up very quickly, unlike the corded versions.
Glue comes out at a nice pace. Not too fast or slow.

I’d definitely recommend this product, for an off brand it’s met all my expectations!

  9. Logan

Tool works perfect with my Milwaukee M18 Battery. It heats up very quickly and the glue comes out very smooth. Great product!

No idea how the hot glue gun is going to hold up, but I am happy that it works with my 60V batteries. I will update this review if and when there is anything of note to add.

  11. Shin

No cords to hook up , portable , just hook up 20v DeWalt battery to it and it’s ready to use . Heats up super hot without dripping at the tip. Awesome awesome awesome ! Works 10 times better than a plug in hot glue gun .

    Me resultó muy práctica
Aunque no es la temperatura que se describía en la publicación, no llega a los grados mencionados, pero es funcional

This glue gun is quite good for a cordless version. Heats up in about 3 minutes and can deliver small and medium amounts of glue fairly quickly. Good trigger. I would say its good for light duty construction and crafts. If you want to do some heavy duty construction, you need something with more heating power to deliver large volumes of glue quickly. Still, great for the price – love using my dewalt batteries and going cordless.
