10 reviews for Cat Quest III Nintendo Switch

9 & 11 year old were able to play together in this very cute and fun game. It is hard to find coop games for them to play on one switch console. You can play the whole game and them do it again and explore more areas for a whole different game experience.

I’ve played Cat Quest I and II. Cat Quest III is really fun. I’m a casual gamer and don’t play many games but this series is fun, cute, and just has a creative storyline with nice game play and good visuals. Kids also love it. It has lots of save points so it can be picked up and put down pretty easily. Just a fun casual RPG.

I didn’t get paid for this review and I purchased the game at full price.

Just like the two before it, the third installment of the Cat Quest games is absolutely full of charm. And puns. All the cat puns.

The controls continue to be fluid and adaptable, and the addition of a boat to purrruse the 7 seas in is just pawsome!
It is very easy to just pick up and play, so don’t worry about going lengths of time between play sessions.

The story purrrgression from the first two games is nice, and the game is generally structured the same as well. If you played either of the first two it will feel very furmiliar. The one and only ‘complaint’ I have is that it feels short. The first two aren’t long purr-say, but somehow this one feels shorter.

Only reason that’s a problem is because it’s fun 😉

My husband and I binged on playing this after we got it. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that we could continue playing the game after completing the final boss.😁 And after completing the final boss a second time… 😉

We have played all 3 Cat Quest games and love them all. We like them enough they have all been necessary “physical copy” purchases. The pun is real, and is always fun to see the new things they come up with. I hope to continue seeing more Cat Quest content. And I wouldn’t mind seeing some Cat Quest plushies more readily available. 😍

No Cat Quest 2, but Still Awesome. Would have rather some more along the lines of 2. But I’m a fantasy person more than pirate person.

The ship driving and fighting is really fun.
Great for two people couch coop too.

Using the ship to defeat enemies is a new feature to this franchise & fun to do, I was a little annoyed that the level the enemy is at no longer appears above them like it did in the first 2 Cat Quest & make the mistake of failing to defeat a high level boss at level 40, I only knocked its health do by about 40% when it defeated me, I then went back at level 75 & got revenge without breaking a sweat. There are some good griding spots where enemies drop trinket upgrades & because of it, I got my Trinket up to a higher level then my Cat. But I was strongly upset at fire ball in Fire pirate hideout killing me with about 2 hits at level 40 & about 4 hits at level 80, Fire balls shouldn’t do that much damage, but over all another good game to play for about 4 or 6 hours a day for 4 or 5 days.

This is a great game for the switch. I have been a gamer since the early 90’s and I love this game because it reminds me of the old jrpg’s like breath of fire except here the main characters are dogs and cats. Not a super long game but it’s so much fun and a great price!

If you liked the first 2 games you will like this game as well.
