Knitting in the last frontier –
convenient and the paper rolls are relatively easy to change. the print function is decent and I like that i can turn it off and still randomly print my last equation if i need to check something. I do a lot of random percentages in my work and had to hunt for the function [X times Y(percent) minus or plus] but other than that, its fine. The mini ink roller is a little fiddly to change, but certainly not worth throwing the whole thing out and buying a new one like a previous reviewer had suggested.

Have used this model calculator for over 20 years. Was disappointed when OfficeMax closed, but happy to find them oline! I bought one plus a spare. Battery operated (4 AA batteries), or can use power cord that comes with it. Perfect size to fit in my briefcase! Will hold a standard sized roll of adding machine paper–do not need to use the tiny roll of NCR paper it comes with. The ink pad can be replaced (though not easily since it’s small and compact) when ink gets dry & pale, but I find it’s easier to just order a new calculator.

I love the ease of use. Simple to work with, especially the reprint feature, and just the right size. Fits in a purse for portability. Great for accounting procedures.I would definitely recommend this product.

I use this little guy to do my biweekly finances. Printing out the numbers and having the calculations in view help me do my finances better. The calculator is great quality and it’s easy to print or not print your calculations. Only thing I can say is I wish the paper was bigger but that’s ok.

My desk sits a little higher and from my seated position and looking at the calculator’s display the numbers get washed with the background. It needs angled more for me to read. From straight on looking down it’s crisp though. Be nice if the display could be flipped up. I like the size but I’m gonna have to return it unfortunately.

It Prints somewhat weak, but it functions about as well as the price point we paid (under $12.00) (refurbished unit) might have had us expect. So, it deserves a four-star rating. We bought this one, which had batteries and an A/C cord – and was well packaged. It was missing paper, but we got a couple rolls at Walmart.
Now the mechanical setup frustration.: Oh, Boy!! LOADING and threading PAPER requires more skill than most people have. A seamstress or a person with superb eye/hand coordination would excel at the setup. I am neither – but after a half hour, I got it done – having to guardedly restrain my vocabulary to the non-use of four-letter words! I had ink all over my right hand due to my carelessness and tight working space. But…it is done.
Casio put a lot of home/office use in front of me for probably quite a while for which I am eighty-two percent happy. Now to find a way to get the ink off of my hands….(soap and more soap).
This is more review space than I have ever used. Too much frustration involved in setting this up to allow a simpler response to be rendered. Fair trade off – in that we got four AA batteries vs. zero paper. Surprise, surprise!

I have been trying to replace my old Casio HR that has been through the ringer. The print cover broke off it’s been well used. Finally after many years of service the buttons don’t want to work anymore. I just couldn’t find anything that had soft and quiet buttons. They all click or make some kind of noise. I just can’t stand all that noise when I am concentrating and doing finances. So I ended up just searching for my old Casio and this new model came up!!! Yay! Problem solved and now I can actually print again if I want to. The printer does make noise but I can turn the print feature off so as not to disturb me or others. Oh and apparently I had lost the power cord years ago too. I didn’t even realize or had forgotten it had one lol! Now I have the option to plug it in if I want to. It’s the perfect size and viewing angle. Heavy enough to not flop around when typing but light enough to take from room to room. It’s also not too large to have next to my other bills, tablets, etc while working. I highly recommend!

Nice clear printing that is very legible even after lots of use. Well, its a Casio, and what they don’t know about making half-decent calculators isn’t worth knowing!
Overall its a calculator with plenty of functions and with the added capacity to render hard copies of your sums, a great novelty. I’m happy with it, you will be too I don’t see why not!
