I’m giving the scope a five-star rating because of the clarity which is very good the scope seems to be well made it’s a little on the heavy side but if you want good quality you got to expect a little weightI ain’t had a chance to take it outside and really try it because up here where I live we’re buried in snow and it’s cold but hopefully in a couple of months I’ll be able to take it outside and do some shooting and give you’s an update the adjustments for the Windy’s and the elevation are tight the clicks are firm they are not loose the illumination works good too even in broad daylight it only has a 1-year warrant one year warranty but I’m guessing you’re not going to need it oh by the way this scope is air gun rated it also has a good eye relief on it you don’t need to get rid on top of it to get a full view,

When you find the perfect scope for your gun, you know it!

Use narrow scope rings to maximize front to back adjustments. Otherwise great value, good optics.

To preface, I’ve personally owned 3 of these exact scopes and the same thing happens every time. I would also like to mention the rifle I had each scope on was my gamo swarm magnum. The scopes look and feel great when you get them, however once you start shooting is when problems start occurring. The first problem I noticed that happened on two of the three I had bought was the parallax adjustment ring came detached from the scopes after shooting. Not a huge deal since the adjustment still works you just have to guess the range to adjust right. The very bad part about these scopes is that every one after only roughly 150-200 shots would break. And not just no longer hold zero but stuff would actually break. Both lenses on each end of every scope came loose at some point. The scopes no longer hold zero on any of my guns. BSA does offer a warranty but they make you pay for shipping and packaging both ways and after three scopes and the exact same problems I’m done with them. Do yourself a favor and buy something a little more quality.

As my title states, it’s good. Very good. The glass is super clear for the price range. The eye relief is much better than my hammers scope. Once you adjust the eye adjustment, the reticle and glass gets super clear. The parallax adjustment is good as well. I tested it, and it holds zero well on my .177. It also seems to be very durable.
The turrets are difficult to turn, but it seems that once you turn them, they break in and adjust easier. Audible clicks, but no tactile feels.
The illumination works best at night. During the day, they work but not well. The red is also uneven in brightness but should not affect anything. The green is very even but shows a green light glare that is not desired.
However, you are getting a lot of scope for the money that you may not get with others. For what you pay, you get a lot in a quality scope. I would recommend this scope to anyone on a budget.

I’m using this scope on a Xalisco XS28M which is a beast of a breakbarrel springer with a hard recoil, and is damned hard to shoot accurately. I’ve mounted the scope on top of a Chinese knock-off of a Bullseye ZR mount, (Ade Advanced Optics High Profile Zero Recoil Mount), with no problems. I’ve struggled to shoot accurately with this rifle, but a lot of the problem is me. After close to 1000 pellets, I’m finally getting pretty consistent groups and it seems to be holding zero decently. I’m shooting roughly 1 1/2 inch groups at 30 yards and they seem to be improving. I suspect that the zero recoil mount costs me a bit of accuracy, as does my age, so I’m satisfied with the scope.
Unlike a number of reviews,I haven’t had any problem with recoil damage – I think the ZR mount makes a huge difference – even so, as on any magnum springer, screws loosen up. I’ve learned to check them every time before I practice. A loose screw will really raise hell with being able hold zero. I wouldn’t be surprised if some of the issues other have are related to this.
I use the rifle for pest control and while I won’t win any shooting contests, I can usually drop a varmint eating my wife’s flowers with a headshot at 30 yards.

Work perfect for me and my Gamo Arrow

I have used it with my air rifle for about a year, and once I set it and adjusted, it still holds strong and shoots are accurate.
I don’t use the illumination, although it’s a great thing at dusk or early morning.
I don’t know how it would’ve performed on a shotgun, but it is 10 out of 10 for an average air rifle.
