  1. Voltron5000

They charge in both official and aftermarket chargers. Capacity seems to be at least around 4ah at the minimum.

  3. customer review

This product is identified on the Amazon page as a pair of 6.5 Amp-Hour 20V batteries designed as a replacement or substitute for the DeWalt 20V MAX battery line and a battery charger. No battery charger was received with this order.

The Amazon page for this product indicates that the brand name of the battery is “JOYMEEY”. There is no name specified on either battery. The battery was molded in all black polymer. The monochromatic appearance of the battery is quite appealing. The side panel graphics on the product received are simple white lettering on a black background. The image on the Amazon page is the same as the product that I received.

The battery is not identified on the Amazon page with a model number. The label on the bottom of the battery simply states:

    “DCB200 20V 6.5Ah 130Wh”

I can only assume that the “DCB200” information is a JOYMEEY model number. It must be noted that the DeWalt Model Number “DCB200” is for the DeWalt 3.0 Amp-Hour Lithium-ion Battery product. The electrical specifications of the product stated corresponds with the information provided on the Amazon page (using the 20 Volt specification for calculation of the Watt-Hours value). The battery and an “Power Tool Battery User Manual” sheet were shipped in a plain cardboard box.

When I received the batteries, I checked each battery’s charge indicator. For each, it showed two lighted LEDs. I put each onto my DeWalt 20V + FLEXVOLT Fast Charger (DCB1112) to fully charge them. They charged for about forty minutes each before the charger shut down.

In previous testing I (and other Amazon Reviewers) have found that many third-party produced batteries cannot run the DeWalt 20V MAX Blower (DCE100) for more than about 30 seconds. As a comparison, the DeWalt 5.0 Amp-Hour battery and the DeWalt 5.0 Amp-Hour POWERSTACK battery will run the DeWalt 20V MAX Blower continuously until the battery is depleted. I would have tested the tool with a smaller capacity DeWalt battery but the 5.0 Amp-Hour batteries are the smallest I have purchased. The precise cause of this problem is not known by mere mortals, but it is a real problem and it is reproducible. That said, I have found a number of third-party produced batteries that will continuously run the DeWalt 20V MAX Blower. I have become convinced that this issue is caused by the individual battery’s electronic protection system.

I tested this product with the tool in question and it had no problem at all in running this tool. No Problem at All! After the second battery was fully charged, it was also tested and it also worked perfectly with the DeWalt 20V MAX Blower (DCE100). I am truly impressed with this product. The battery was then tested with some of my DeWalt and third-party manufactured tools. The tools were:

    DeWalt 20V MAX LED Work Light/Flashlight (DCL040)
DeWalt 20V MAX XR Brushless Oscillating Multi-Tool (DCS356)
    Non-DeWalt 8″ Chainsaw, Brushless
    Non-DeWalt 6” 1200 RPM MAX Orbital Sander/Polisher, Brushless
Non-DeWalt 4” Spin Scrubber Cleaning Brush
Non-DeWalt 4½” Angle Grinder, Three Speed, Brushless, 10,000 Max RPM

Each tool worked properly and no issues were encountered. All tools worked at normal, expected speed and with expected torque values (where applicable). The tools did not generate excessive heat nor did the battery while in use. The batteries were then recharged after testing.

The physical size of this “JOYMEEY” 6.5 Amp-Hour battery is approximately the same as the DeWalt 5.0 Amp-Hour battery. The weight of the “JOYMEEY” 6.5 Amp-Hour battery is about the same as the DeWalt 5.0 Amp-Hour battery. These “JOYMEEY” batteries are very nicely made and the battery case components are put together with TORX screws. There were no sharp edges, rattles, or loose pieces noted. The graphics panels on the battery case fit well, looked professional, and were well affixed. This battery has a Battery Charge Indicator that works in the same manner as the DeWalt Battery Charge Indicator. These batteries charged on my DeWalt 20V + FLEXVOLT Fast Charger (DCB1112) with no issues observed.

These batteries seemed to perform well enough but ran for less time than my DeWalt 5.0 Amp-Hour batteries for the same testing process. I would estimate that these batteries only performed at about 80% of the capacity of my DeWalt 5.0 Amp-Hour batteries. I do not believe that the capacity is truly 6.5 Amp-Hours. My estimate is that the actual capacity is about 4 Amp-Hours. While I do not yet have the equipment to scientifically and precisely verify the capacity of batteries such as this, I will remedy that issue soon.

I am impressed that the JOYMEEY batteries were capable of operating the DeWalt 20V MAX Blower (DCE100) without any stoppage and the appearance of the batteries is nice.

I ordered this Joymeey Dewalt 2 pack of replacement batteries for my power tools. Unfortunately I left my power tools at aa job site overnight, luckily the power tools were still there, but they absconded with my Dewalt batteries.
I ordered this set as it costs less for 2 than 1 of the name brand batteries. These batteries are perfectly compatible with my Dewalt power tools making it perfect for my needs. The batteries locked in seamlessly, and lasted just as long as the original name brand batteries. Overall I am very pleased with this order, this set of batteries is a great value, they are just as described and they worked great.

These replacement batteries for DeWalt 20-volt cordless tools work very well. First, they fit all of my DeWalt cordless tools just like the originals. I have had others that are a bear to get on and off, but these work very smoothly. They recharge fine and they hold power just like a new battery. I can’t really attest to the amount of total power they put out because I don’t know how long a 6.5 Ah lasts compared to a 6.0 Ah, or even a 5.0 Ah. But, in my experience, I would say they are in the ballpark. I have seen some badly mislabeled replacement batteries that were more like 3.0 Ah batteries instead of 6.0 Ah. These batteries have a charge level meter and that is a key feature for me. I always want to know where the power is at so that I don’t head off to a job with a partial charge or even a dead battery. My only real complaint about these batteries is the color scheme. They should have included some DeWalt yellow/orange, even if it is just the label. It makes it easier to know you have the right one for the right name brand tool. I would say this pair of 6.5 Ah batteries do a good job and they are a nice value.

These batteries performed well when I put it in my 40V leaf blower, which takes a lot to power. Lasted a decently long time until the battery got warm and my blower shut off. Overall, I’m happy with the performance of these batteries although I did not do any measurable tests. Also, I was not able to identify which type of cells these were even after scanning the QR code with google lens. These 6.5ah batteries looks and feels good, nice and heavy. An 6.5ah OEM Dewalt battery cost 4x more, meaning for one OEM, you can buy 4 of these. I would say these batteries are a better deal. Although, I cannot tell you how they would compare 5 or 10 years down the road. Overall, these batteries perform well and I would definitely buy these over OEM.

The worst thing is to almost be finished with a job and the battery die right? I recently upgraded my Dewalt tools to the 20v set and the OEM batteries are crazy expensive. I like to have several batteries on hand so that I can always have one ready when out on a job. Also, from time to time, a battery will just decide it doesn’t like to take a charge anymore or has lived out its “best life” for you. So, again, I like to have several batteries on hand to cover me in those situations too.

These batteries appear to be a great, and less expensive, alternative to the OEM batteries. While I can’t verify, they are the same inside as a Dewalt battery, as long as it operates my tools (which they do) for an adequate and acceptable amount of time (which they do) for a decent price…then I am in! These fit the bill in every way for me and I think they will for you as well.

    Easily a 5-star item!
