    Bought this battery to replace the Black & Decker original battery for a small blower. This battery lasted about 6 months. I took the unit apart and replaced all 10 cells inside the case, which fit the tool perfectly, with new Japanese no memory nicad cells which cost about $80 with shipping. And the battery now works as good as the original Black & Decker. I used the spot welder that I bought on Amazon to build the battery. Just used the old battery as a template and when done turned them in to be recycled. The tool will run continuously on full power for about 20 minutes, then it will start to slow. I don’t run the battery all the way down. These cells do not respond well to that type of use. I let it cool, then recharge the battery. Holds a full charge for about a week. The new cells are about a year old now. There are cheaper cells out there, but the time it takes to rebuild the battery pack isn’t worth it.

    It might not last as long as the original, but only short maybe five minutes. Glad to have found a replacement as the original was no longer holding a charge at a reasonable price.
