Great tools for a great price! Make sure you count 2x – thought something was missing it was just in the VERY bottom!!

This is a great starter set. The selection of tools is pragmatic for beginner wood working. I can confirm these are not knock offs. I like that you can register them and get a 3 year warranty through Makita. I have used the tools for a few weeks with a remodeling project and they work perfectly. I can tell they are quality but kinda heavy.

Tools were shipped in a normal fashion. Upon arrival, all the “bare tool” boxes were crammed in a much bigger box. Digging through the box, opening each tool as I went, I realized there was no tool bag.
Tool get packed in to replace my old broken set, and taken to work. Call the next day to express my frustration of not receiving the storage bag; and Amazon’s only answer was to send the entire kit back, so they could complete an “internal investigation” as to why the bag was not shipped.
I explained that the down time without tools for another week was worth more than the tools themselves; and that I would not be able to ship 10 loose tools, and 2 batteries, as that was a major inconvenience and taking away from work.
All for a bag that lists on Amazon for $30
Tools work great, very happy with my purchase. However, I will have to buy from local suppliers now, in order to make sure I receive everything I paid for.
Disappointing and eye opening experience with Amazon customer service: it felt like I was being treated as if I was trying to take them for something. I bought what I needed and wanted, and Amazon couldn’t deliver.

the 4 amp hour batteries do not fit on all our older tools
