Works fantastic Quality made+++ Customer service is TOP NOTCH you can actually call somebody and talk to a person in the USA. I always call first before buying the product and see if i can talk to PERSON so I know if there’s a problem it will be taken care of. I’m tired of having a product that you have a Question on or is bad and you can’t talk to anybody about it getting fixed or replaced

The product listing includes an image of a true sine wave, and the description claims “pure sine wave power” but the product manual available on the Krieger website explains the unit generates a modified sine wave, and warns against operating certain appliances from this inverter. I have a background in power electronics and can say with certainty that a modified sine wave does not resemble the image shown even slightly. The description “pure sine wave power” is a blatant lie.

Read the manual! First time connecting the battery/battery bank, IT WILL SPARK! Make sure you have the cables correct! 2000÷115=17.4 amps. On the DC side the fuse included is a 200 amp fuse. But once it is connected, correctly , it seems to be working well

I had a Krieger 1500 watt modified sine wave inverter for years but it couldn’t run an inductive cooker we bought. This one runs it fine. I had an issue with the remote but the customer service solved it for me. They were great, easy to contact and you can actually speak with a human.

  5. Karen

Does everything I want it to. It even runs my new furnace.

    Well built unit.. easily installed

  7. Juan Collado

Bought 1500 watt inverter for RV solar power using 2 batteries, error came up short circuit warning when running coffee maker, sent 1500 watt back and purchased Kreger 2000 watt inverter. It works okay but it does require 2 FULLY CHARGED 12 volt, deep cycle batteries to run a 900 watt pot of coffee. Mr. Smith at Power Bright was very helpful in suggesting the 2000 watt.

I purchased this unit based on good reviews in case power goes out so I can run a small A/C window unit or a small heater in the winter. I have never had the opportunity to use it because we’ve had no power outages. I only use it to charge power tool batteries, flash light batteries and 18650’s. I hardly ever even turn the unit on. Today I turned it on to charge some 18650 batteries and it blinked once and died. It is dead and It is only 13 months old. I will contact Krieger and inquire about the issue and see if they will honor their warranty. Will update with results.

This inverter looked like a good value and had positive reviews. It is well-built and has the features that I was looking for. I like that they included the battery connection cables with a built-in fuse on the positive cable. I’m waiting on my 100AH LiFeP04 battery to see how that works. I’ll add a second battery if all is well.

Haven’t gotten to test everything and check all of the numbers, so that’s still out. But pure sine, hardwire output, remote display, right at 20a continuous, fair price. A well thought out unit imo.
