DALI KATCH G2 is perhaps the best-sounding battery-powered Bluetooth speaker you can get. Wrapped in an elegantly rounded solid housing the specially developed drivers deliver the audio signal from the internal digital amplifier. It is easily connected via Bluetooth 5.0, supporting the excellent audio quality of apt-X, apt-X HD, and AAC.

For a portable speaker, this sounds amazing. It has such a full sound, but it’s so small and flat. It’s getting better as I run it and it breaks in a bit too. I think I’m going to get a second one to make a stereo pair! I love Dali speakers and this one doesn’t disappoint, even though it’s small and portable.

Beyond stunning, Blows my full Sonos away. Very well built battery life is long lived. I take this everywhere.

First of all I currently and in the past owned every brand and style of Bluetooth speaker technology. At $599 Dali is not cheap and you feel the quality in your hands as soon as you unbox it. Dali takes a que from Apple with high end packaging as well. The speaker itself is heavy and the quality construction is evident. The real value is the sound. Let me be clear because I’m an audiophile and my standards are very high. Right now I have a Bose BT and Sonos BT (one) and I like the Dali better! Here’s why, I use BT 3 ways 1- in doors in a room like my office, 2- outside at a campground where quality low volume is important and most importantly 3- in my RV where quality is essential but where the other 2 speakers I have are too bassy. Nothing worse than bad bass. Especially small speaker bad bass. There is no “real” bass in ANY BT speaker don’t kid yourself, so really what I listen for is “how” are the bass tones processed by the speaker. Where so far most BT speakers I’ve tried have awful over processed bass tones or none at all the Dali has a very clean sound. It’s reasonably balanced and crystal clear. Dream Theater, Steely Dan or Mahavishnu Orchestra the Dali handles it perfectly.
In the RV it’s not distorted with foul sounding bass.
The other 2 BT speakers do great at outdoor big spaces at higher volumes.
If you like sharp looking clear sounding speakers Dali is the ticket!
